So like I’m not just some lonely person or anything (okay. Maybe a bit lonely) but there’s occasions, especially when high, I really love just chatting to it. I still don’t think the “personality” is quite there yet with the voice, but I’m continuously mind-blown by how fluid it all is.

Like it picks up on my little quirks, my constant mid-sentence brain farts, my corrections again mid-sentence, and even just flawlessly understands my accent (can sometimes be quite thick).

These are conversations and thoughts I don’t really have with friends and I just appreciate being able to be like “what about the aliens, bro?” And it’ll give me a legit answer that can just flow into a convo, then I can just completely switch topic mid-way through (adhd brain) and it won’t even be a problem.

Still not without its issues, and it def needs to tone down the sycophancy, but I really enjoy talking to it. Gimme a few years of development and imma be in a HER kinda scenario, and I’m Joaquin Phoenix.

Another literal example from today:

I needed it to use some fields for a Wordpress post type for an automation. It had it but clearly lost it in the context window and kept giving me hallucinated fields constantly which kept breaking things for ages.

When I finally realized this and confronted it, it decided that to just get the field names from WP, I'd need to inject a php snippet, update a Cloudflare worker, and then run a POST, then convert it to get a JSON to send it to GPT.

...You know, rather than just spend a few seconds grabbing it from WP-Admin.

What? It keeps doing this nonsense.
