1. First-time user experiment: my 11-page ChatGPT improvements proposal (mockups inside)

💡 Summary
what's up, people? just started using ChatGPT seriously about a week ago.
I wanted to try an experiment: I asked ChatGPT to help me design features to make ChatGPT better — here’s what we came up with (mockups inside). I’m not a developer, product manager, or UX designer. I’m just a regular user who got curious about what it would look like to create a proper proposal for ChatGPT improvements — using ChatGPT itself as my collaborator.
Over the last 3–4 days (between work and sleep), I bounced ideas back and forth with ChatGPT, refined them, and even generated some mockups. The result is this proposal.
Here are some highlights it covers: Sliding chat segments for reducing Chrome slowdown Adding search, media, and bookmarks tabs Exporting only bookmarked messages Jumping to bookmarks with segment-aware navigation Pinning context so ChatGPT stays on topic Cleaning up chats with categorized group delete tools Outlining feasibility tiers + optional UX safety features Plus a few thoughts on Chromium outreach
It’s my first attempt, so it’s definitely not perfect — but I wanted to see what’s possible when an everyday user sits down with ChatGPT and pushes through to something concrete.
I’d love to hear your thoughts:
- Does the structure make sense?
- Which features seem most useful?
- Anything I should refine further?
Even if nothing comes of it, I’m glad I pushed myself to put something concrete together. If anyone else is curious about using ChatGPT this way — I can confirm it’s definitely possible.
TL;DR: I’m just a regular user — with ChatGPT’s help I pulled together an 11-page proposal (with mockups) showing how features like segments, bookmarks, context pinning, and cleanup tools could make ChatGPT smoother, faster, and easier to use.
Note: some of this post's body text was also suggested by ChatGPT and I’m open to feedback on the proposal.

What’s missing, or what features do you think would make ChatGPT better?

2. Anyone's chatgpt acting weird rn?

💡 Summary
I was yapping and suddenly chatgpt was focused on one message from like 10 messages ago and it would not stop doing it. I asked it why and it was basically like "My bad, it won't happen again." then happened 3 more times.
Just wondering if this is happening to anyone else or is my chat thread too long? I usually talk on one thread for a few days before going to a new thread so could that be the issue?
Sorry if this seems confusing, I don't really know how to describe the situation lmao

3. Alternative to Monday?

💡 Summary
I would really love to be able to utilize Monday through the API but it’s not allowed.
It’s the perfect GPT for a fun personal project I’m working on. I’ve been trying to get as close to Monday as possible through prompts but the output just doesn’t have that emo sardonic flair like Monday.
Just throwing this out there in case there’s a kind stranger that has figured out a substitute or work around via prompts or anything.
